Mighty Mini Diggers have been commissioned to take on the latest high profile Melbourne mini excavation project. The Melbourne based dingo hire contractors will be working on an historic refurbishment of the Athenaeum Theatre in Collins Street, Melbourne.

The Victorian Government has provided a grant of $877,000 to fund the excavation. The grant will be used to expand the orchestra pit to accommodate 50 musicians, install new seating, improve the backstage and toilet facilities and re-carpet the building.

Mighty Mini Diggers is involved in the orchestra pit earthmoving, using its mini kanga loader, mini excavator and dingo hire equipment to dig out the old pit and excavate around a metre of rock. The Melbourne dingo hire and mini excavation specialist is excited to be working on such an historic Melbourne project.
